Title: Diabetic Foot Symposium
Description: In this 2½ day symposium, which is aimed at all health care workers involved in the
prevention and management of the diabetic foot, topics varying from basic research to daily clinical practice will be covered. Through
general lectures, oral and poster presentation of submitted abstracts, workshops, hour-with- the-professor meetings and debates
almost every aspect of the diabetic foot will be addressed. Furthermore, three topics will be particularly highlighted during this meeting:
Wound Care in Diabetes, Infection in the Diabetic Foot and Diabetic Foot Surgery.
